What is a Match Report
Match Reports are a record of the goals, misconduct (Yellow / Red Cards), and other important parts of a soccer match. This can included substitutions, injuries, weather, start time and more depending on what the league you’re working asks for.
The Match Report is filled out by the Referee Crew and must be correct and include all information required for the league you are refereeing in.
Are all Match Reports the same?
Yes and No. Match Reports take many different forms. Different Leagues use different reporting forms, programs or documents as their required Match Report.
They do all have similar information required when filled out. They will also follow a similar format in how the information is filled out.
